Left in a safe place
When online shopping started being a thing it was such a thrill to wait in for your parcel. You could purchase things without even having to leave your home, at any hour of the day or night, and someone would just bring it to your door. Cushions, plant pots, mirrors, batteries, even a pet llama if you really wanted one.

However, the more delivery companies that got involved the more competitive it all became, resulting in lots of notes through your door saying, “parcel left in a safe place.” Spoiler alert: the place is never safe, and it’s often in your bin, or on top of your prize flowers.
