Testing, testing…
This is why DIY stores in the UK have tester panels on the side of all of their spray can shelves. People suck when it comes to thinking about who is going to be cleaning up their mess, so it’s best to give them an obvious alternative to doing something like this. I get the need to test the color and coverage of something before you buy, but there is such a thing as common courtesy.

I have many questions: were these tester pots, or did everyone open brand new cans to try out before putting them back on the shelf? Does that mean that some customers got home with their brand new can of paint and found it half empty? What are all the assistants doing in this store that means they didn’t notice random floor spraying?
