If you thought that what you see is what you get, think again. For Adam Hess, buying a rug online seemed like a good idea; what could go wrong with a rug? Everything, apparently. What was supposed to be a ‘regular’ size rug for his room, turned out to be, in fact, a ‘regular’ size, for a barbie house, perhaps.

The advertisement only said “rug carpet embroidered” and no size was specified. After learning his lesson, Adam shared his disappointment on social media, for others to be warned: “bought a rug online for my room and realized the importance of specifying the size of the product you are selling.”
