#8: Hold the Ice

A flight attendant confessed that the water situation on airplanes is less than ideal. According to this flight attendant, the water container and ice-maker on an airplane are never, ever cleaned. Who knows what germs are milling around in there? As a result, this employee recommends never ordering coffee, tea, or anything with ice in it. 

Flight attendants use bottled water when you ask for water. Other than that, they use the tap water from the never-cleaned container on the plane to make coffee, tea, and ice. Next time you want a ginger ale on your flight, as for no ice.
