#16: One Expensive Haircut

Getting your hair done can be expensive. Many people pay upwards of $100 for a cut and color. But does it really have to be that expensive? Many of the chain salons mark up their prices even though the cost of materials is insanely low. For example, a tube of hair color usually costs under $15. The salon then charged the customer way more to make a profit. 

Many people don’t have a problem paying extra for their hair, especially if they go to a small business owner. There’s no denying that the cost of labor is a valid reason to mark up the cost of a haircut. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.
