This Reddit user’s family history is certainly full of surprises! From ancient Norman families to bigamist great-grandfathers and war heroes turned homeless, there’s enough material here for a best-selling novel (or at least a really interesting family reunion).

It’s amazing to think about how our past can shape our present, and it’s especially hilarious that this user ended up on the same streets where their great uncle once roamed. Maybe there’s some kind of strange family curse at play here, or maybe it’s just a coincidence – who knows? One thing’s for sure, though – if this user ever does decide to write a book about their family, it’s bound to be a page-turner.
