Considering that we live in such a modern world, it can feel strange at times that there are still physical ties to such ancient times, especially because the rest of the world seems to have very much moved on from these types of codes, more or less.

Well, when Princess Mako of Japan attended university, she was accompanied by bodyguards disguised as students at all times.
