Roasted

Some people love a good roast, and no, I don’t mean the beef kind. There are entire comedy shows and online forums dedicated to roasting people. Typically, a wedding is not a place where you’d get to witness a full roasting of a couple. Wedding toasts are supposed to be lighthearted and fun, not offensive.

Bringing up old flames is a bad idea. Financial matters, breakups, and drama are also good topics to avoid. Lastly, making fun of the couple is far from ideal. There are kind ways to roast someone but in the wrong hands, a gentle roasting can easily turn mean-spirited. A wedding is not the best place to test out your comedic skills.
