Why Wouldn’t It Work Out?

It’s wonderful to know that your family has your back and is out to protect you at all costs. While it’s easy to appreciate the sentiment that this father and sister were showing, in that they would always be there for the bride, it makes it very obvious that they both felt the need to point out this information. In front of everyone.

One speech would have been bad enough, but two speeches is enough to make guests wonder. How stable is this couple’s relationship? What makes them think this relationship might fail? So much so, that they feel the need to point it out during their wedding reception? Hopefully, it’s just an overly-protective family and nothing else.
