Weddings are far from cheap and it’s understandable that folks will save money where they can. An outdoor venue may sound romantic, but it comes with it’s own risks of rain, bugs, and a number of other things. Getting married in a forest sounds absolutely magical. But, you have to be prepared for nature to not appreciate all the extra guests.

We don’t know if it was a cost cutting measure, an aesthetic desire, or just a perfectly convenient location. Either way, this bride and groom should have taken a few extra measures to create an enjoyable environment. Some citronella lanterns, a few throw blankets over the logs, and some well-placed stepping stones would have gone a long way.
