Aren’t the best man and maid of honor typically someone pretty close to the bride and groom? As a result, of all the things that could possibly go wrong at a wedding, you’d think remembering the couple’s names would be the easiest part of the best man’s duties. This best man made not one, but two mistakes.

We’ve all had a moment where we’ve drawn a blank, haven’t we? It’s not uncommon to play a little word association to try and jog your memory. However, at a wedding, on a hot mic is most definitely one of the absolute worst times to have this issue arise. Hopefully, it all just lead to a little good ribbing during the reception.
