If you trust your friends or family members’ skills enough to use them as a photographer that’s great. However, if you hire an actual professional, then they should be the ones in charge of photographing all of the key important moments. You’ve never arrived at a restaurant and let yourself into the kitchen to cook, have you?

It’s perfectly understandable this dad was excited to celebrate his son’s wedding, but he really should have left things to the hired photographer. That’s his job, after all. The photographer shouldn’t have to put in the situation of possibly offending someone by telling them to get out of the way. This would have been a good opportunity for the mom or brother to step in and stop him.
