A Bit of an Overlap

When you run in a small circle of friends, everyone tends to know everyone else’s business. Of course, it’s wonderful to be able to remain friends when possible, but it’s also important not to forget that secrets inevitably spill out. Perhaps this bride should have taken a moment to speak to a few people before the wedding ceremony.

She could have avoided having her secret revealed so publicly by speaking to her dad ahead of time, but she couldn’t have known he was going to talk about how and when they started daring. Perhaps just a small mention to avoid talking about certain topics would have been helpful. Or, what would have been best, is to have an honest conversation with the ex-boyfriend so he wasn’t put into such a painful position.
