As technologies change, there will be skills that younger people pick up but older people don’t, but at the same time, there will be skills that older people know that younger people will just never understand, having never had a reason to use them.

What hurts about this one is that for a lot of us, CDs feel relatively new. Buying CDs only became a thing in the 1980s, while most of us didn’t have the technology to burn a blank CD until the 1990s or even later. So for someone to not understand how to burn CDs make you realize that it’s been longer since the 1990s and 2000s than you thought.
