It’s a sad fact that the pop culture references of your youth—the things you thought people would be talking about forever—will eventually fade in relevance as a new generation rises that’s never seen those movies and TV shows. Someday, your perfect impression of Inigo Montoya will just result in blank stares.

In that case, you have two options: you can graciously accept that times change and that each generation has to forge its own path and create new cultural touchstones. Or you can grumble about how kids today wouldn’t know good cinema if it bit them in the face. I’m definitely going with the second option.
