Dropping Way Down
Any time you have to fill out your birthdate in an online form, they helpfully give you a dropdown menu with a list of years to choose from. It’s a useful tool, but it can also remind you just how many years it’s been since you were born.

These days, kids born in the 2010s are using the Internet, so those dropdowns have to be adjusted to reflect that. The result is that sometimes, scrolling all the way down to find the year you were born can feel like it’s taking forever and that at some point a pop-up is just going to appear to tell you that you’re too old to use the Internet.
