Leisure Is in the Eye of the Beholder
It’s true that our idea and understanding of vacation and leisure have changed over the years. While in the past people used to work from nine to five, people work a lot more hours these days, and in some countries around the world, it’s considered perfectly normal.

For boomers, the idea of leisure and taking time off work is at least a two-week-long vacation, while for millennials and Gen-Z, taking a day off is a wild idea. It’s not necessarily that they are hard workers, but in past years, something shifted about the concept of what a job should look like.
