Zoom meetings have become an unavoidable part of everyone’s lives in the last couple of years, from adults at work to kids at school. And if you’re old enough to remember a certain variety show with a puppet cast, seeing all the Zoom meeting participants lined up on your screen in those little boxes might strike you as familiar.

Now that it’s been pointed out to us, we can’t unsee the similarities to the opening of the Muppet Show. Next time we’re in a Zoom meeting, we’re going to start heckling the other participants à la Statler and Waldorf.
