TVs Were Different Then
Technology was simpler when we were young, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that using it was simpler. Things like old TVs had a lot of quirks, which led to some pretty imaginative workarounds just to get things to work.

Back in the day, old TVs didn’t have any extra inputs, so you couldn’t plug in your video game console like you can now. Instead, your console would pretend to be a TV station that was broadcasting to your TV, which would pick it up and play it on channel 3. Kids today don’t know how easy they have it with all their input ports on their TVs.
