If someone tries to convince you to join an organization, but they won’t tell you its name, then you can probably already work out that it won’t be real. Also, anyone who calls you their friend when they try to do this is not a friend at all! Thankfully, this story isn’t so bad.

The only thing that the user and their mom lost out on was 4 hours, as opposed to their money or valuable possessions. Of course, some of us might consider losing time to be worse, as it’s the only thing in life you can’t get back! Either way, this story isn’t as awful as some others on this list.
