Cold Calling

Suppose you have any grandparents who aren’t the greatest with technology. In that case, I strongly recommend you let them know about this cold-calling scam. Clearly, people who operate this way have already duped several older citizens into giving them money, and it’s time someone taught them not to believe it!

You should teach them always to ring your mobile afterward to check if everything is alright. Better yet – tell them to phone up the police and check if it’s true. The police will never ask for money over the phone, and you shouldn’t believe any “family members” who claim they need it.
