13. Traveling Musician or Therapist?

This is complete news to me. I did not know you had to buy a seat for your cello when traveling with it. Given its size and how delicate it is, though, it makes sense. But seeing a large instrument case on a window seat leaning against the wall seems enough to raise plenty of people’s curiosity.

And, of course, being a musician is not always the most sensible career choice out of the gate, so is likely to raise a few eyebrows and questions. Unfortunately, many of us have had to make sacrifices and remember those missed opportunities. Seeing someone else pursuing their dream might get us thinking.
