#33: Over the Edge

Normally, if I were told a babysitter watched a child fall off the edge of something, I would assume the kid had been moving quickly or jumped off something. This, however, sounds like a slow crawl that she completely ignored. I wonder what she was waiting for? Why would someone do this?

Also, why did she lie? Even without the cameras, it seems like an easy thing to own up to instead of boldly lying about it. Kids get hurt all the time, even when people hover over them. My daughter skinned her knee today while walking and holding my hand. It happens! Honestly, this person shouldn’t be watching kids if she’s deceitful and has zero reaction to impending doom.
