#27: If the Shoe Fits…

While this isn’t the worst story on the list, it’s still awful. It seems that dear old mum loved her shoes and kept them carefully organized. I’m surprised the house cleaner thought she’d get away with “borrowing” three pairs without it being noticed. I mean, I wouldn’t have noticed, but I’m not a shoe person.

Even worse, mum blamed her daughter first! It truly baffles me when people don’t realize their actions have consequences for others. Thankfully, the shoes were returned, but the trust was lost forever. I’ve seen people fired for less. This woman should be thankful they didn’t press charges, especially if the shoes were expensive.
