David Hasselhoff

We understand that constantly being recognized in public and asked for autographs can be tiresome and invasive for celebrities. However, there’s no excuse when celebrities are rude to young children. This guy has a traumatizing memory of asking David Hasselhoff for an autograph when he was seven years old. He and his parents spotted the celeb during a visit to Redondo Beach, CA, in the 1990s. 

In his childlike excitement, our storyteller went up to David to ask for an autograph. David was extremely rude and told him to “beat it” because he was spending time with his kids. Since our storyteller was literally seven, he was frozen in shock. When David realized he wasn’t leaving, he yelled obscenities at him! The fact that this grown man reacted this way to a small child is a major red flag. We understand wanting some privacy, but he could have politely declined instead of having that rude outburst.
