Nick Cave

We normal folk sometimes feel entitled to approach celebrities whenever we see them in public, and we feel as of they have to treat us with kindness and respect and hand out autographs and pictures. However, sometimes they just want to hang out with family or friends and not be bothered by fans. Even if you have something nice to say to them, they don’t always want to hear it.

Is it rude? Maybe. Do we understand where they’re coming from? Not really, because we’ve never been in their shoes. Take this story for example: one person approached singer-songwriter Nick Cave on the street while he was out shopping with his son. He approached him to tell him how much he adores one of his music albums, and in return, Cave said he couldn’t care less. I would’ve been incredibly offended, but this person said he still loves him, so we’re all good.
