28. That Underwhelming, Eh?

I’ve heard the pyramids were a bit underwhelming because you could just see them sitting there right outside Cairo, but it must have been so disappointing this traveler didn’t even think to see the sphinx as well. An odd moment since I would think it’s a bit more interesting than the pyramids themselves.

There’s more going on than just a giant triangle, you know? Either way, maybe this is a good excuse to go back to Egypt sometime to see it, though I can’t say I would think it’s worth going back just to see the sphinx and nothing else. Ah well, best to move on to the next tourist attraction.
