Oh. Oh no. This would have ended badly. Thank god for friendly guys helping clueless tourists. How do people always get themselves in these situations? It’s always good to wander around and explore, but for God’s sake, make sure to do a bit of research ahead of time, eh?

While I am prone to exploring myself and have wandered into areas that are a bit less comfortable, it’s good to ask around sometimes before wandering in whatever direction you think is right, especially if you’re in an area that could be potentially unsafe.
