15. Saved by the Local

We’ve seen packs of rats, cats, squirrels, and everything in between in some cities. But in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the problem is in their large amount of wild dogs. And being pack animals, it only makes sense they would band together to form their own little packs within the city.

Unfortunately for this OP, he seemed to have run into a particularly vicious group who were well used to human tricks and found it particularly unimpressive. I can only imagine how scary this situation could be, but at least my hope in humanity is restored to know a friendly local was willing to come to the rescue.
