10. Get on a Train out of Town, Get on a Bus to Town, Now Do the Hokey-Pokey

Continuing our exploration of “why flights being delayed from their departure time is good because we make dumb mistakes” topic, here is another such example of where it would have been a bit more useful if the flight was delayed for just a little bit longer.

Getting around unfamiliar airports, especially really big international ones with multiple terminals, is no easy feat for the uninitiated, and even veteran travelers can be prone to making mistakes and ending up turned around. There is some irony to taking a train out to the airport and accidentally returning on a bus, though.
