Just a Little Truth Bending

We all exaggerate the truth a little bit during job interviews, but this company took it a few steps further. The interviews went really well, making this person very excited to start their new job. But after several interviews that took place in a cafe, they finally gave this person the address to the actual office…

This person described the actual office building as “decrepit” and “barely standing.” The equipment was outdated, and the “small team” they were supposed to be leading was just one person who didn’t speak the same language. Talk about bending the truth! The most shocking part of this story, however, is that management actually thought this person would stick around.
