Managing Expectations
Sigh. Another case of false salary advertising. This person went through several rounds of interviews before they were finally offered the job, but the wage ended up being quite a shock. They had agreed on one salary during the initial phone interview, but they significantly lowered that when it came to the actual job offer.

Of course, if you’re in this position, that’s likely not something you would let slide (if you could even afford to). So this person pointed out that they had initially agreed to higher pay. Their response? Too bad, so sad. This response was just adding insult to injury, and they decided not to waste their time on this company.
