Off to a Bad Start

It’s bad enough not to write your own training materials for a job you’re supposedly the expert in, but this company took it a step further. On this person’s first day, they walked in only to be greeted by training materials inspired by L. Ron Hubbard. Yup, the founder of the Church of Scientology is now inspiring businesses in their training endeavors.

Besides the fact that it’s a set of beliefs that not everyone holds and agrees with, this company was also using materials written by someone convicted of fraud and who carried widespread controversy. Not a very warm welcome, and I’m sure this person leaving wasn’t the first or last time that happened.
