#3: This Is Just Grate…

Here’s another insane apartment cop-out. This poor sap was sitting under their AC vent all summer wondering why they weren’t getting any colder when the air was on. Turns out, all they had to do was look up to figure out what was going on. If you look closely, you’ll notice almost immediately what’s wrong with this picture. 

This AC “vent” isn’t a vent at all. It’s just a cover screwed into the ceiling. If you look beyond the grate, all you’ll see is the speckled paint of the cheap apartment ceiling. Tricking tenants into thinking they have control over the thermostat seems like a cheap trick to pull. Plus, this fake vent cover makes the space look cheap.
