#55: Strong or Little?

This one I had to look up, not because I remember it, but because I’ve never seen Scary Movie and have no idea what they were talking about. Apparently, a lot of people remember a character saying, “Take my strong hand,” when what he actually says is, “My other hand isn’t strong enough; take my little hand.”

It’s understandable how such a mistake would be made; the incorrect quote is basically like a summary of the correct quote. What’s weirder is how so many people got it wrong in exactly the same way. Either there’s an alternate dimension out there, or people are just really bad at remembering movie quotes and they rely on what they hear other people say more than what they actually remember from the movie. I’m betting it’s the second one.
