#43: Do Rats Have Middle Names?
As a childhood connoisseur of Chuck E Cheese’s—I went there for pretty much every birthday between the ages of about 5 and 10—I totally already knew about the correct name. I walked under that sign far too often in my formative years not to have realized that, for some reason, this particular rat uses his middle initial when marketing pizza and arcade games to small children.

But I can totally see how someone would think otherwise. Why would you name a mouse Chucky but then spell it “Chuck E”? Why does an anthropomorphic rat need to be so formal when he’s just supposed to appeal to young children? Whose idea was this?
