#33: Curiouser and Curiouser

Do you ever think about how weird the Curious George book series really is? Why is this monkey wandering around having wacky adventures in the city? Why does he live with the man in the yellow hat? Who is the man in the yellow hat, anyway, and why is his hat so comically enormous?

And most of all, if George is a monkey, why doesn’t he have a tail? It would make sense that he would, because monkeys do, and maybe that’s why some people remember him as having one in the illustrations. He never had one, though, from what I can tell. Or maybe it’s hiding in the man’s enormous yellow hat.
