#31: He’s Like the Wind

Who doesn’t love Patrick Swayze, am I right? He had the best hair, and even when he was playing tough guys, he had the kindest eyes. And he was in some absolutely iconic movies from the 80s and 90s. All sensible human beings were sad when he was diagnosed with cancer and died not long after.

But the person in this story is no doubt extra sad, because apparently, they somehow got it in their heads that he did beat his cancer and survived, so that must have been a whole new shock when they found out. He did improve for a little while after his initial diagnosis, so maybe that’s how this person got confused. But unfortunately, he did die in September 2009, and the world is a sadder place for it.
