#29: Yeah, Science

A surprising number of these revolve around people getting quotes from TV shows and movies wrong. I guess all it takes is one person getting it wrong and starts quoting it that way, and the power of suggestion leads other people to think that it’s supposed to be that way, and the next thing you know, the wrong quote is everywhere.

I wonder if the writers of these TV shows get annoyed when people do that. Or maybe they hear the new quote and think, “Shoot, I wish I would have thought of that. That’s actually better than what I came up with.” That would be a writer’s worst nightmare: if meme makers were better at your job than you are.
