#20: Gotta Catch ‘Em All

If you’ve lived in America or Japan any time in the last twenty or thirty years, you have likely been unable to escape Pokémon: either you were playing it, or you had a child in the family who would talk your ear off about steel-type Pokémon if you held still for more than eight seconds.

So Pikachu was an intrinsic part of pretty much everyone’s life, and yet a lot of people misremember a certain detail about him. This one isn’t too surprising if you think about it; he’s got black on the tips of his ears, so it’s natural for some people to assume he’s also got it on his tail.
