Skipping Duty

Are you ready for a slightly sadder entry? It’s a real shame that, back in the 60s, the idea of refusing conscription just wasn’t a thing. I’m sure that plenty of other people resorted to methods like this to avoid being forced into the army. Thankfully, lots of people have a choice now.

But, seriously – what a huge mistake to make. In today’s day and age, it would be much harder to fake something like this. I feel pretty bad for the grandfather – can you imagine having something like this weighing on your soul afterward? You’d find it pretty difficult to deal with yourself.
