A fortune cookie that turns out to be true is super rare, which already makes this a cool story. The oddest part of this post isn’t the fortune cookie, though. It’s that his friend gifted an entire refrigerator and then needed it back. Was he not going to replace the fridge? Why move and use your old fridge when you had plans for a new one?

Still, this scenario is better than a friend needing an alibi for nefarious purposes. They could have called for a million other reasons that would have taken much more effort than returning the fridge. Of course, it could have been something as simple as needing a ride. That might have been the best-case scenario.
