#32: A Cat’s Love

The thing that strikes me the most in this post is that this person loved their cat so much they would take it to their friend’s house and leave cans of cat food over there to keep the kitty extra happy. That’s a level of cat ownership that deserves a standing ovation. I can only imagine how hard it must have been for her when her cat passed away.

For the door to crack open that same day, especially after they lamented about using the bathroom alone, feels like the ultimate kitty hug from beyond. I’m sure there are a thousand possible explanations, but with this kind of animal companionship, I’ll agree it’s odd and heartwarming.
