Mother Teresa’s real name was Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, born in 1910. She had just turned 87 years old a few days before her death, though her birthday was based on the day she was baptized and not on the day she was born. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II posthumously six years after she passed.
