#22: Always Listen to Your Parents

It’s easy to dismiss dreams, but if one of your parents has a dream and a bad feeling about a super dangerous activity, listen to them! Dad somehow knew what would happen, and it should have been a red flag for the kids if he had usually allowed them to jump off the bridge.

This is the kind of thing that keeps us parents up at night. We want to protect our kids so badly, and sometimes that means protecting them from themselves. This is impossible when kids won’t heed our warnings and sneak out to do what they want to anyway. I am so sorry this story ended this way.
