#30: Stop Ecocide

It’s no secret that humankind has slowly but surely been causing irreversible damage to planet earth. While some people are more pessimistic about the future of the planet than others, the fact remains that we need to start treating our planet with more respect.

The government of France has decided to take active steps in encouraging people to look after our environment by making ecocide a punishable offense. That means any intentional action that causes serious damage to the environment. France is not the only country taking steps in that direction, however. The country of Lithuania has the strictest laws for protecting the environment.
