Minor Theft Auto

This person stole a toy car from a toy store, but at least they were clever enough to leave behind a funny note: they wrote “Grand Theft Auto” in the place where the car used to be. They were probably referencing the action video game where you steal a lot of cars and get on the bad side of the law. It’s not very educational, considering a lot of kids and teens play the game.

We’re not saying the funny irony here excuses the theft in any way – even if it’s not a real car, but just a small toy car – it’s still stealing. But we’re pretty sure the employees of the store got a good chuckle out of this. We do hope they ended up catching the thief. Actions have consequences.
