Manspreading

You must have seen it before at least once, but you may not be familiar with the term: manspreading is the phenomenon where men sit in public transportation with their legs wide apart, invading the personal space of the person sitting next to them. Most of the time, it’s done on purpose.

Even if you have long legs and not enough legroom, you can control where your legs go, and if you’re invading the personal space of your seatmate – that’s a choice. This woman was in for a long flight; asking the man nicely to move his legs was of no use, and she was forced to sit there uncomfortably for the rest of the flight. How is that fair? Once again, it’s beyond rude – this behavior is obnoxious.
