Most of us remember The Three Little Pigs from this 1993 Disney animation, but did you know the piggies’ story actually goes way back? The Three Little Pigs was included in The Nursery Rhymes of England in 1886 by James Halliwell-Phillipps. The story was then popularized with the English Fairy Tales by Joseph Jacobs, published in 1890.

Most of the audience completely missed this joke back in 1993, but thanks to the powerful Internet, we are now able to appreciate this subtle but hilarious gem!
