Then There Was This In Dexter’s Laboratory

This is the third Dexter’s Laboratory slide we have here, I’m starting to think this show was not meant for kids at all. Did you know that Dexter’s Lab was the first original animated series on Cartoon Network? Maybe that’s why the showrunners let so many inappropriate jokes fly by.

I think this not-so-hidden adult joke is not only a bit too far for kids, but it also sends a pretty sexist message. I guess the concept of sexism and gender inequality was not a priority for 90s cartoon producers after all. This is funny because Dexter was actually voiced by three different women!
